In the finishing arena, I asked an expert biker compatriot of mine called Charlie Eustace
from the Podiumkiss team. He said things like “you should float the bike” and “speed is your friend”.
He said that that is what biking was all about, I did see his point.
It can’t be about the uphill, after all!
