24 Hours of ExposureExposure are proud to be the sponsors of the first 24 hour National Championship.
The event being held in Newcastleton on the 22-23rd May 2010 is creating a buzz between the top 24 hour solo riders. The event is exclusive to solo competitors putting each rider on an equal standing to prove who is the best endurance athlete. The race is being held at the beginning of the season so there are no excuses of fatigue from other solo outings. Big names in the 24 hour world have already signed up showing their colours in trying to prove they are the best and most determined rider on the course.

What’s the protocol for kissing the podium girls? Sometimes it’s left cheek, right cheek… other times, left, right, left… or maybe it’s right, left, right. Anyway, what gives?

Generally speaking, the custom for kissing an “acquaintance” in France is on the cheek, three times, starting with the left cheek. In Italy, it’s twice, also starting with the left cheek. So in the Giro d’Italia you’ll see that most of the Italians will kiss the podium girls twice, and in the Tour de France, most of the French riders will kiss the podium girls three times. But if you win, whatever you do, no kissing on the lips.
